High Education College Is Not Academically Challenging As...

Pursing a higher education tends to be a very common choice for most people today. When one decides that they are going to attend college, there are a lot of decisions that he/she will need to make. With that being said, there is also a lot to take into consideration. The first thing that a college student needs to determine is whether they will be attending community college for the first two years, or a university. Some important factors to consider when deciding to start at a community college or a university are: the quality of the education, the likelihood to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, and the cost of tuition. To being with, the quality of education being offered is a very important thing to consider. A common misconception is that community college is not as academically challenging as a university. Contrary to what most people think, there is actually no significant difference between the qualities of education at a community college versus a university. As a m atter of fact, community colleges usually offer courses comparable in academic rigor and difficulty to those taught at four-year colleges and universities (collegeatlas.org). However, where there is a significant difference is in the quality of the professors and classroom instruction. At a community college, more emphasis is focused on classroom instruction, whereas at a university they focus more on research.
